My Favorite Things About Being A Real Estate Marketer
Job Title: Real Estate Marketing Specialist
At first, my job seems straightforward. A marketer for the real estate industry, professionals, and brokerages alike. What my title doesn’t reveal is how rewarding and fun my career actually is.
I want to let you in on a secret: you can make money AND do what you love.
Are you a creative? Are you someone who uses social media? Do you desire a life beyond the ordinary?
If you answered yes to any of those questions you need to seriously think about becoming a real estate marketer. Here are my favorite things about this job.
Flexibility: I set my own hours and can work from anywhere. As long as you have a phone and internet connection, you can create while you live your life.
Pandemic? No Problem: I’ve been working remotely with just a few client meetings since March. I set my schedule and decide the personal boundaries I want to set as far as safety and health are concerned.
Friendship: Each of my clients has become a friend. As you work with your clients to learn their passions and goals, you inevitably become friends and help each other succeed.
Unlimited Income Potential: Income is only limited by the hours you want to work. The sky is the limit as far as income is concerned. Start with just you and grow an agency! Work full-time or part-time depending on the pricing guidelines that YOU set.
Be Your Own Boss: This business is all yours to grow to success! Your reputation for quality work will lead to future clients and an income you can count on.
FUN: The real estate industry offers many opportunities to network, happy hour, and attend amazing events.
Creative Outlet: Creating quality content is more than just coming up with a funny caption and pairing it with a pretty picture. If you like writing, photography, art, etc. then creating content using my methods allows you to lead a creative life, inside the office as well as outside.
Stability: Simply put, people will always need to buy or sell houses. Everyone needs housing! This underserved niche is in need of quality marketers who can help others create content that increases their business. Additionally, real estate agents can often write off their marketing expenses, making you a double value.
Marketing Matters: Digital marketing with social media expertise is a field that will never stop growing. If you want to enter a field that is filled with opportunities and growth, this is the one to be in.
Employment Opportunities: Is growing an agency not your thing longterm? By learning real estate marketing you could join a brokerage as their marketing admin, be an employee to a team as a marketing assistant, or serve one agent as a full-time assistant. Options are not limited because real estate agents NEED what you provide!
