I began shooting 35mm film in 2010. I fell in love with film photography the moment I bought an old Canon in a store in Austin, Texas near where I was attending high school.

Back then, I was also building a small business of shooting Senior photos, special occasion portraits, and weddings here and there. For those I primarily used my Canon Rebel T3, purchased for me by my parents to support my passion. At that time, digital cameras (DSLRs) were the most popular among photographers. Though I enjoyed the ease of learning technical aspects of photography with instantaneous results, a quick tweak and a view to see if the settings were correct, I found myself pulled into the dark room more and more frequently.

The allure of capturing a moment with no expectations for its results is what brought me back to film in 2022 after a long hiatus.

The beauty in the small moments of life is present in these photographs.

For 8x10” prints, shipping is a flat $10. Additional fees may be incurred for larger prints.
